Vibrational frequency in quantum physics means that everything is energy. We are vivid beings that vibrate at specific frequencies. Each vibration is equivalent to a feeling, and two types of energy can be distinguished, positive and negative. Each feeling causes you to emit a vibration that can be positive or negative.
About vibrational frequencies
To have a healthy interaction with the energy in our environment and attract the good, positive, it is important to tune our frequency. You know that when you meet someone new, you first have to tune in with that person. You find a ‘common denominator’ that you can talk about, and the ice is broken, or you are on the same vibrational frequency.
Negative energy has a low vibrational frequency. Positive has a high one. Most people experience this point where your energy collides with another’s. Can you remember it yourself? That you entered a room full of negativity and could feel it?
The heart as a transmitter of frequency
Scientists at the HeartMath Institute in the United States have discovered that our heart is not just a pump that moves blood around, but that the heart has its own network of neurons, just like the brain in our head. This means that our heart has its own brain, the heart-brain. In addition, the scientists were able to measure with very precise equipment that our heart acts as a neurotransmitter and emits and receives very subtle electromagnetic radiation.
This electromagnetic radiation varies in frequency, and so that is what we feel when someone around us is angry or frustrated; then that frequency is different from our own frequency, so we are – as we also say – not on the same frequency. In general, negative emotions of stress, frustration, anger, resentment, and fear are lower in frequency than positive emotions, such as gratitude, love, and solidarity.
It is these higher frequency emotions that bring us into a state of heart coherence. Heart coherence is a psychophysiological state characterized by optimal order and harmony in both our psychological (mental and emotional) and physiological (physical) body processes. In a state of coherence, the heart, our lungs, and our brain work perfectly together.
Heart Rhythm Variability
Traditionally, scientists assumed that our heart worked like a metronome: that it always maintained a regular, strict rhythm and only began to beat faster under the influence of exertion or stress. They have come to realize that it is precisely this natural variation, even if it is only in milliseconds, that can provide extremely valuable insights and, above all, benefits for our health, both emotional and physical. This naturally occurring heart rate-to-heart rate variation is called heart rate variability (HRV).
The HRV is not only an important indicator for determining health and fitness but is also a good marker for our behavioral flexibility and ability to effectively manage stress. Read more about heart rate variability.
Especially when your heart is emitting lower frequencies due to stress and other negative emotions, it is of absolute added value to training heart coherence, which goes hand in hand with greater heart rhythm variability. The equipment HeartMath has developed for this purpose can be found below.
In addition to training heart coherence and the HRV, several other influences can affect your vibration frequency. I will list them for you.
Factors that can influence your vibration frequency
Thoughts
Every thought emits a frequency directly into the universe. This frequency is reflected by our holographic universe and comes back to its origin. So if you have negative thoughts, such as discouragement, sadness, anger, or fear, this is reflected by the universe and comes back to you. That’s why it’s so important that you take care of positive thoughts and learn to make your mind stronger than your emotions.
And that’s not to say that you should never feel sad or annoyed, but be aware that your conscious mind is at the wheel, and you’re not letting your emotions control you.
Your company
The people you surround yourself with directly affect your vibrational frequency. When you surround yourself with happy, positive, and determined people, you adopt this vibration. It’s better to avoid people who complain, gossip, and heavy-handed people. They lower your frequency, and the consequence for you is that the universe sends you back the same low frequencies.
The saying teaches us for a reason “you are most like the five people you hang out with most often.” So make sure you surround yourself with positive people!
Music
Music is a very powerful medium. If you only listen to music about hate, death, betrayal, sadness, and similar topics, it will directly affect your feelings about yourself. It is not for nothing that aggressive music gives people such a short fuse!
When you are aware of this, you can choose the music you need at any given moment. Do you feel stressed? Then listen to calming music, for example, with binaural beats. Do you feel melancholy? Then choose cheerful, uplifting music.
Of course, you can also choose to support your already positive mood with nice, upbeat tones. And remember: you attract what you think about all day.
What you watch
Do you watch tv a lot? Then it’s good to be aware of what you’re watching. Death, betrayal, sex, and misery are all about the ratings and don’t get you anything. Your body does not know the difference between imagined emotions and reality, so it starts to produce stress hormones that lower your vibrational frequency. Rather, watch videos or movies that make you feel good, not lower your higher frequency.
Atmosphere
Whether at home or work, spending a lot of time in a messy and dirty environment will also affect your vibrational frequency. Make sure you are careful with the things you surround yourself with, organize and clean your environment. Show the universe that you are taking good care of yourself and ready to receive much more.
The Spoken Word
Everything you talk about affects your vibrational frequency. Avoid the habit of complaining, and don’t use negative words to keep your frequency high. Just watch yourself when you are behind the wheel. Someone who cuts you off can immediately condemn, but it is better to forgive that person immediately. Take responsibility and choose positivity in your life.
Gratitude
Gratitude is perhaps one of the most positive feelings you can experience and positively influences your vibrational frequency. By incorporating feeling grateful into your daily life, you will soon reap the benefits. Not only does it bring peace to your system, but it also has a positive impact on your overall health.
Start giving thanks for everything, for the good things, and learn to appreciate the somewhat less positive things for the lesson they want to teach you. Give thanks for all the experiences you have had in your life. There is always something to be thankful for.
